06 Feb Kosta, we will miss you!
On Wednesday, February 5th, we received a truly sad message. Konstantin Kotitsas, the former race engineer of Konrad Motorsport has deceased. We are shocked and our thoughts in these hours of darkness are with the family and the friends of Konstantin.
Seems as if a good race engineer is wanted in heaven, there is no other way to explain the death of “Kosta”, like he was called in the paddock. He was enrichment for international motorsports and his way of setting up a race car was unique. We not only appreciated him because of his technical skills, but we always will remind him as a good and straight-lined friend.
“Kosta” worked as a race engineer for Konrad Motorsport especially in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup from 2008 and 2009. Together with him we were able to celebrate numerous race wins and podium finishes. We had our biggest hour with Konstantin at season final of the Supercup in Abu Dhabi. Being in care of the car of Jeroen Bleekemolen, he helped to win the drivers title in the fastest one make cup of the world.
